everyday memories of you fill my head. Theres so many that was shared between the two of us. I miss your laugh and all the stories. Memories surround me of the all the free advice you gave me not realizing then how it would reflect my life today. Remember watching you work so hard out in your shop in them long sleeve button ups wondering how on earth you wore long sleeves in the middle of summer. Sittin back in that broken down chair you loved because it sit just right for you listening to you pick your guitar to the cmt station on tv. HA HA one that always makes me laugh oout loud is how you used to make us watch tv with no sound and grandma used to get so frustrated about it. i love and miss you papa gone but never forgotten.

Willie was a good man.  He helped me more than once in my life.  Showed me the value of something old, how to restore, and how to cherish.  I miss his stories and his easy laugh.

Wow this hard to find a beginning place to start off with memories because there's so many of them. My papa was my everything and I know He would do anything for me I looked up to him and wanted to live my life right like he did I wanted to do the great things he did and be there for my loved ones when they needed me and learn everything he knew and I never got that chance. I knew he loved me and still does and I know he still looks down on me I really do and still to this day I look up at heaven and wave a small hello and I miss you. My favorite memorie was when we had this turkey and it was evil and it came after papa so he grabbed it by the neck and stuck it in a tub of water..it was priceless to see. Another favorite memorie would be the day papa me and grandma went trout fishin and my grandma had to wear a pair of papas waders and she fell in and me and papa just kept walking and talking while rafters was flying by her...then later on that day me him and grandma went and ate a pick nic it was the best day ever. My papa was a great man and always let me know he was proud of me no matter what I did he said good job...I miss him dearly and can't wait to see him again someday :) I live you papa I hope u know that. Love you favorite granddaughter :)

MEMORIES, MEMORIES!

I will always remember the time when Papa and I cleaned and ate our first armodilla together! Famous words of Papa "TASTE LIKE CHICKEN", he said everything tasted like chicken...lol

I also remeber how no matter how much of a mess me and grandma made with his paint, or how many wars we had with it, he never got mad or upset. He simply laughed and said, "Good luck getting that off, ITS OIL BASED!"  LOL...

..Where to begin? I have so many memories........

Deer Season is always a good one.   Like, the time Papa almost got run over by two does..and I just sat there with my mouth to the ground..... there wasn't a deer season that went by that papa didn't tell someone this story. I know you smile down on me every deer season papa!

Snow Days:  Papa gave me the ride of my life!! Purple sled, behind the 4-wheeler..Papa driving...Steffanie Riding sled...Hit Rock....Steffanie In Pond...Papa still driving!! Steffanie soak n wet and Frozen....Literally...Papa STILL driving...Finally when Papa noticed I was gone....he turned the 4-wheeler around, came back and said.."What in the heck are you doing in the pond?"...Like I said, The Ride of My Life!

Referbishing old furniture in Papa's shop.

Going to the Auction every Friday.

ALL Papa's Hunting stories...Alligaters, Wild Hoggs, U name it....

 Stormy Dawn stories...

Fishing in the pond and catching...NOT ONE, BUT TWO...Bass... on one lure....one was a trophy size!!

OH how the memories go on..........

                      Love and Miss You Papa!!!

The Day God Called You Home
Anonymous

God looked around his garden,
And He found an empty place.
He then looked down upon this Earth,
And saw your tired face.

He put his arms around you,
And lifted you to rest.
God's garden must be beautiful,
He always takes the best.

He knew you were suffering.
He knew you were in pain.
He knew that you would never,
Get well on Earth again.

He saw that the road was getting rough,
And the hills were hard to climb,
So He closed your weary eyelids
And whispered, "Peace by Thine."

It broke our hearts to lose you,
But you didn't go alone.
For part of us went with you,
The day God called you home.
